The Intel team managed to overcome the odds by defeating defending champion, Formosa to emerge as the Men Champion for the 1999 FIZ Badminton Tournament. All the ties was hard fought with both teams perspiring to the last point. We would have to congratulate both teams for their well fought matches.

After drawing with 2-2, the last tie was the decider on who would be walking back with the Champion trophy. Intel went on claim that prize by playing a fantastic game but not an easy one. The last match was so intense that all the supporters was pratically surrounding the court to cheer their teams to victory. By winning this year, Intel defends the title that they held the last round.
